New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
Hello! I am Dr. Marlon Ware, retired U.S. Marine Officer and currently a university professor teaching and researching business and management. I am passionate about education and leadership and always interested in uplifting our community. I joined the Marine Corps because they had the best-looking uniforms! However, seriously, serving in Operations Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom with service members who were proud to serve gave me perspective on how essential a strong cohesive community is. Working together and leading from the front have been the hallmarks of my career.
As a product of a working-class, blue-collar family, I am no stranger to hard work and perseverance. Teaching students about business and always giving back to the community is something in which I firmly believe. As a husband and father of four, I understand and am always striving to make the lives of all families better. Service and the betterment of people’s circumstance is my calling, and I intend to lead the effort!
